Coruscant is the beating heart of the galaxy: an ecumenopolis, a single city that covers an entire planet, and the seat of the Galactic Republic. During the Clone Wars it was the political centre of the conflict — home to the Senate, the Jedi Temple, and the intrigue that shaped the war from above.
The world and its war
For a story about operatives working in the war’s shadows, Coruscant offers something the front-line worlds can’t: the underworld. Beneath the gleaming towers and skylanes lies a vast, lawless undercity — exactly the kind of place a deniable outfit like Zero Company would operate. A mission here might trade open battle for a tense infiltration through the lower levels, far from the Senate’s gaze.
How Coruscant would play
As the ultimate urban theatre, Coruscant would be a masterclass in city fighting:
- Endless dense cover — structures, vehicles and verticality on every side, with short sightlines that force flanking-range engagements.
- Infiltration over assault — the setting rewards a Scout’s reconnaissance and a Scoundrel’s disruption as much as raw firepower, suiting a stealthier objective.
- Close-quarters lethality — an Assault thrives, while exposed crossings between cover are deadly.
A squad for Coruscant wants mobility, control and the tools to handle a fight that could start at any corner.
