Sharpshooter

Long-Range Specialist

The Sharpshooter is Zero Company's precision damage class — a patient marksman who deletes priority targets from range, rewarding good vision and careful positioning over aggression.

One target. One window. One shot.

The Sharpshooter answers a simple question better than any other class: which enemy do we most need gone, right now? This is Zero Company’s long-range precision damage dealer — a patient operative who waits for the right window and removes a priority target before it ever gets a turn.

How the Sharpshooter plays

Range and elevation are everything. A Sharpshooter positioned high with clean sightlines can threaten most of the map, but the trade-off is mobility: reposition too often and you’ll never get the setup shot you want. The class pairs perfectly with a Scout, who can reveal targets and flush them out of cover so your shot connects, and with a Soldier who can hold the ground beneath your perch.

Because the Advantage economy rewards landing hits, a Sharpshooter who reliably opens each engagement with a kill helps fuel the squad’s biggest plays. The danger is tunnel vision — a marksman who fixates on one corner of the battlefield can be flanked while lining up the perfect shot.

Who should pick it

Choose the Sharpshooter if you enjoy reading a fight a turn ahead and value a single decisive action over constant aggression. It’s enormously satisfying to neutralise an enemy heavy or officer before it fires a shot, and on harder difficulties that pre-emptive removal is often what keeps your squad intact.

The Sharpshooter is a standard class available to any recruit, and it’s a cornerstone of most balanced four-operative squads.
