Jedi Padawan
Force-Wielding Controller
The Jedi Padawan is a story-restricted exotic class in Zero Company, tied to the character Tel-Rea Vokoss — a Force user whose abilities reposition enemies and open devastating squad synergies.
The Force moves them. My squad finishes them.
This is the class that makes Zero Company feel unmistakably Star Wars. The Jedi Padawan is an exotic, story-restricted class — tied to the squad character Tel-Rea Vokoss rather than your created recruits — and it folds the Force directly into the tactics layer.
How the Jedi Padawan plays
The signature trick, shown in previews, is using the Force to move an enemy out of cover and into a squadmate’s line of fire, rendering them vulnerable. In a game where cover is everything, a controller who can simply remove an enemy’s cover — or reposition them into a kill zone — is extraordinarily powerful, and it’s the clearest example of the Star Wars synergies the developers want you to chain together.
That makes the Padawan a setup engine. Pull a target into the open, and your Sharpshooter or Assault converts it into a guaranteed kill, while the squad’s shared Advantage pool fills from the hits. The Padawan’s presence reshapes how you plan an entire turn.
Who should pick it
You don’t pick the Jedi Padawan so much as deploy Tel-Rea Vokoss, but when she’s in the squad you’ll want to build the turn around her control. It rewards players who think in combos — who do I move, and who finishes them? — and it’s one of the most satisfying classes to master.
As a story-restricted exotic class, it can’t be assigned to ordinary operatives. Exact ability details may evolve before launch; we’ll update this profile as more of the Force kit is confirmed.
